Donations

The Moore County Public Library graciously accepts your donations. You may donate books, audio books and DVDs to add to our collection. However, we reserve the right to book sale any materials that are duplicates in our annual book sale in October. The money generated from the book sale is used to fund special projects here in the library.  Of course, you can make a monetary donation of any amount to the library and you can designate it to any of these categories such as: building fund, ongoing projects, summer reading, or other programs. All checks for donations must be made out to the Moore County Public Library, and sent to P.O. Box 602 Lynchburg, TN 37352

Memorials

Memorials are a great way to donate to the library. You can donate in memory or in honor of someone. We will need the following information:

Name of deceased or honoree

Next of kin's (of deceased or honoree), name  and address,

Donor's name, address and phone number, and

If you wish to request a specific book, we will need title and author or subject matter; otherwise, a title or subject will be chosen by the director.

A card is sent, at no extra cost, to the next of kin notifying them of your memorial.

We try our best to buy hardback books for memorials, the cost starts at $20.00 and goes up depending on the cost of book but we will accept any donation over that price. All checks for memorials must be made out to the Moore County Public Library and sent to P.O. Box 602 Lynchburg, TN 37352

Every three months a list of our memorials are submitted for publication to the Moore County News. The Moore County Public Library is very thankful for the generosity shown to the library throughout the years.
